Just another day or....

For some it's just another day,for some yet another holiday,and for some the celebration day -the 60th independence day...for me the day started with the sms happy independence day ,went for the flag hoisting (after 2 long years, last i attended it in my school) by NSS....was really nice, thr was a very cute collarpin -flag distributed to all the lucky souls attending the ceremony,thr was a speech n there was singing of the patriotic songs reflecting the true Indian spirit ...these songs have nostalgia ,some kind of patriotic feel,a memory,i love them ...the songs were going in some sequence of regionalistic order and then came the royal Rajasthan's turn "DHARTI Dohrari "..i really love Rajasthani songs(be it dancing on their beats or singing :P) kind of gives u the majestic n royal feeling ....then in the end was the turn for the national anthem ... amazing feeling .....
finally nss went ahead with the noble cause of tree palantation on this special day...
ok so me not going to write yet another blogpost about the greatness of indian culture,our success n blah blah blah... (we all know about it).....keeping in mind the fact that
"Do we really love India & accept all its people the way they are? "or is it just a feel good blog that we write & forget about it at the very next instant?....
We have beautiful mountains may be what we lack is no sense of environmental protection...............
We have beautiful villages, may be most of them are suffering with poverty and illiteracy. ...........
We have beautiful beach cities and towns, may be the fishermen in those towns and cities are most effected person with lack of proper protections from cyclones. ..........
We have lot of people bestowed with the beauty of talent ,may be have lesser people to appreciate that beauty........
We have beautiful musicians, may be most of the Indians are indifferent towards the lives of the poor artists. .........
We give such high status to women incarnations the goddess Laxmi,Saraswati,may be today we have forgotten ...we all know the plight of Indian women in rural areas......
We are developing in IT industry and the growth is tremendous, may be the unemployment is on the increase and the hunger deaths are not uncommon.......
We are seeing the development of our country and we are also watching the terrorism on the raise...........
With all this good things and" draw backs"("No country is perfect,We have to try making it so!")

But for today let us first bask in the glory of the nation that we love dearly-India. India, the cradle of civilization and culture.

I love my India,Jai hind and Vande Matram are the words being uttered here there n everywhere
